Coaches 

Rick Hines is founding pastor of Hope Community Church in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, which has grown to over 800 in attendance since it was started in 1996. He has an M.A. in Biblical Counseling, a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry. Rick was first trained as a coach with Ministry Advantage and enjoys helping pastors develop healthy and effective churches. He lives with his wife Margaret and their two sons Glen and Alex in nearby Mishicot.

Mike Woods is founding pastor of Grace Community Church in Winchester, Virginia. GCC began with Mike, his wife, and one other couple. From the first service in 1998, it has grown to over 1,000 in attendance. He formerly served at Christian Fellowship Church (Ashburn VA) and Waterbrook Brethren Church (Edinburg, VA). Pastor Mike attended Potomac State College of West Virginia University, Eastern Mennonite College, and Eastern Mennonite Seminary. Mike was among the first pastors to be trained with Ministry Advantage and went on to become one of their coaches. Mike especially enjoys coaching and encouraging church planters in this critical Kingdom work. He and his wife Barbara have two grown children. In their free time he (a private pilot) and Barbara enjoy flying around the East Coast, hiking in the mountains of Virginia, and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.
