On May 29, 1953, Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay became the first human beings to conquer the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest. The names Hillary and Tenzing instantly became the names of heroes in every language on earth. Their achievement astonished the world. Hillary was a hero, an icon. Queen Elizabeth II declared him a knight. Fast forward a generation. Over 1,500 men and women – from 16 to 70 years old – have achieved Mt. Everest’s breathtaking summit. What used to be the domain of the elite is now within the reach of an ordinary person with an extraordinary call and commitment. What does it take to climb Everest? Money, a rugged willingness to pay the price, and roping up with those who have gone before. A mere $75,000 will cover the financial part. Only you can decide if you’re willing to pay the price. And if you’re serious about a guide service, check out Mountain Madness or Alpine Ascents.

“We didn't know if it was humanly possible to reach the Top of Mt. Everest.”

On October 12, 1975, Bill Hybels and a small group of young believers started a church in a rented theater. With no resources but their energy and faith, Willow Creek was launched with the dream of creating a community that would reach unchurched people for Christ. Thirty years later, 20,000 people attend one of Willow’s nine services each weekend in four regional locations. With God’s blessing, Hybels forged his way up the mountain and accomplished the unthinkable. Many Christian leaders look up to him as a pioneer. As extraordinarily gifted. As someone who reached the summit. Fast forward a generation. Creating a church of significance is no longer the domain of the elite. From one city to the next, ordinary people are achieving the impossible. What does it take? God, a rugged willingness to pay the price, and roping up with those who have gone before. You know God will do His part. Only you can decide if you’re willing to pay the price. But now imagine you have the right guide service…

“What if what happened in the first church in Jerusalem could happen in communities all around the world today?”
Bill Hybels

We’re about creating healthy churches. We want churches that experience ongoing kingdom growth. Whether a church starts small or with a decent-sized core group, it should never stop making an ever-larger impact for the kingdom.
Let’s be honest. It isn’t easy. Peter Drucker says that starting a new church is the most difficult vocation in the world. A word to the wise: you wouldn’t try Everest alone; don’t go solo on this adventure either.
The LaunchTicket coaching system gives you a chance to rope up with those who have gone before. It is especially designed for the ordinary person who is clearly called, fully focused, and irrationally committed to paying the price. You bring the call and the commitment; we’ll equip you for the climb.
